The kit that goes in the bag, and the frames it comes back with.
Made with MPB around the gear that actually travels. The core of the kit is a Canon EOS R6, a really solid all rounder that shoots high quality stills and 4K video without the bulk of an equivalent DSLR, paired with a Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L, a touch lighter than the f/2.8 version and good for compressing a background so mountains read as dramatic as they feel. Rather than also carrying a wide zoom, image stitching in Lightroom covers that gap. A DJI Mavic Air 2S rounds out the bag, chosen for its flexibility and unique perspective, and for weighing about ten ounces less than the competition, savings that add up across a full kit. All of it bought used through MPB, with a habit of repacking between trips to see what actually gets used.
